What is a Booster? As defined by Wikipedia, "A booster club is an organization that is formed to support (e.g. coordinate events, raise money, etc.) an associated club, sports team, or organization. Booster clubs are popular in American schools at the high school and university level."

What is the La Center Boosters? In short, La Center Boosters is similar to an PTO (Parent Teacher Organization).

The La Center Booster is the Parent Organization for La Center High School.

What do the La Center Boosters do? The General purpose of the La Center Booster Club, a 501c3 charitable organization shall be: To promote volunteers that provide support to enhance and expand extra- curricular activities, academics and athletics. To enhance and support the LC school spirit. To financially assist all recognized student athletic programs and qualifying activities that fall under the supervision of the LC Athletic Director.

How do we raise money for The La Center Boosters? The La Center Boosters raises money through: Membership, Concessions, Business Sponsorship, Fundraisers & Personal Donations.

What does my Booster Membership buy? Most of it goes right back to your student! A small percentage of your dues help finance our administrative and insurance coverage. The majority of your membership dues goes right back to LCHS by way of grants and items that are and cannot be funded by the school.

What and Who do the La Center Booster Support? We support more than athletics! The La Center Boosters is an organization that supports Clubs, Activities and Athletics for the high school.

How can I help? La Center Boosters is 100% volunteer. We would love your help and there are many ways to do that:

• Join the LC Boosters. Memberships is $25.

• Volunteer in concessions with your team or club.

• Be a business sponsor.

• Purchase LC Fan Wear.

• Purchase food and snacks from Boosters Concessions.

• Join the Boosters Board.

• Monetary Donations in lieu of Volunteer time.

• Donations such as goods, services, raffle items for various LCHS events.
